A comprehensive Case History will be taken, followed by a range of tests (MOT)
The whole consultation including the MOT can take up to 45 minutes, also allowing time for care to start (if necessary and appropriate
Tests will concentrate on nerve function, circulation (blood pressure and pulses in the arms and legs), temperature, discs, joints, muscles and ligaments, abdominal organ palpation, skin disorders - to establish the cause of your problems and to rule out any contraindications to Chiropractic care
Blood tests and or diagnostic imaging (X-rays / scans) may be called for to rule out fractures, dislocations, pathology, scoliosis (curvature of the spine). Diagnostic imaging, if necessary, is outsourced as we do not have in-house facilities.
Should the tests reveal any condition outside of the scope of Chiropractic care. (There are many multifactoral disorders which may contribute to your presenting problems - e.g infections, malignancy, fractures, nerve and vascular injuries) Dr. GT will refer you to an appropriate Healthcare provider.
